Hillway was founded in 2014 by a small group of healthcare operators and investors who had spent the previous decade building and running multi-site clinical businesses. We started the firm because we kept meeting founders who wanted a partner that had actually done the work — someone who could talk credibly about clinical staffing, payer contracting, and the practical mechanics of integrating a thirty-provider practice.

A decade later, we've invested in nineteen platforms and completed more than one hundred add-on acquisitions. We've been through the harder chapters — a labor crisis, a pandemic, and a rate cycle — and every one of those experiences shapes how we underwrite today.
